We spent almost 8 hours exploring Liberty Island and Ellis Island. Our day started by taking the subway to Battery Park, where the ferry is docked. The ticketing is done in Clinton Castle

Our tour of the monument was preceded by very strict security. The first stop in the monument was a view of the original torch which had to be replaced due to structural weakness.
