New York City
March-April 2011

Cynthia stopped to browse in one of the many stalls that line Canal Street in Chinatown.
Saturday was a clear and sunny day, with temperatures in the low 50's.  Our first stop was at the original Macy's, the world's largest store.  It was 9 stories tall.  There was a huge flower show on the first floor.  Exploring all 9 floors made us hungry, so we stopped at Nathan's for a hot dog with sauerkraut. Later we made our way back to Times Square and the Theater district to see Phantom of the Opera. Our final destination was Houston Street to eat the best pastrami sandwich and matzo ball soup at Katz's Deli.
The chandelier swings out over the audience in the beginning of the show.
