Chinatown
Vancouver has one of the larger Chinatowns in North America, but the largest in Canada. It was once a vibrant area that has become somewhat rundown with empty store fronts and many homeless people.
Granville Island
This large sandbar and former industrial site is now a posh, artsy neighborhood filled with quaint shops, eateries, breweries, and year-round arts and cultural festivals. Located in False Creek, it's famous for the Granville Island Public Market where you can get fresh produce, gourmet food, and artisanal handicrafts.
Lee's Donuts
Lee’s Donuts is a mom and pop donut shop located in the Granville Island Public Market in Vancouver, B.C. They have been serving handmade, quality, classic donuts based on original recipes developed by founders Alan and Betty-Ann Lee in 1979. We stopped to buy a couple of the very large donuts which we shared while sitting outside enjoying the view of the Vancouver city skyline.
