Luneta Park, also known as Rizal Park, is a large urban park in Manila where Jose Rizal, the national hero, was executed in 1896. The park features monuments, gardens, fountains, and museums, and is a popular destination for locals and tourists.  We spent the afternoon there with Cynthia's sister and niece.
The Chinese Garden in Luneta Park is a relaxing oasis.
A 40 foot statue of Lapu Lapu, the native chieftian who defeated Magellan in 1521, is known as the Sentinal of Freedom.
Our final day trip was to Laguna, a province located southeast of Manila. The first stop was the famous Chef RV Bakery in Binan City. We stopped for lunch at a farm in San Pablo.  The farm had a variety of birds including, chickens, roosters, and guinea fowl. We drove around some of the lakes in Laguna.
Our final dinner in BGC before flying back to the California.
A short stop in Liliw to visit an interesting church and shop at the local stores.
