Our next stop was the island of Boracay, one of the Philippines' top tourist destinations. Boracay Island is renowned worldwide for its powdery white sand beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and breathtaking sunsets. Our travel there was an adventure that started at the Caticlan airport on the island of Panay, then a bus ride to the transportation center for another bus ride to a speed boat, and finally a van ride to our hotel.
Our resort, the Seawind, was located right on the beach. Our rooms were an old provincial style located in a quiet area. The resort featured a full Filipino style buffet breakfast on the beach with a cool ocean breeze.

On my early morning walk, I found a sea cave. Inside there were spectacular views of the ocean and a grotto. Later, I walked back to the cave with Vivian to further explore the area.
Cynthia's oldest sister, Ate Beth, traveled 6 hours to meet us in Boracay. She stayed at the same hotel and joined us while we went around the island.
