After checking into our hotel in downtown Seattle, we walked to Pike Place Market. The historic market is located between the stunning skyline and Puget Sound featuring small businesses that include local farmers, artists, crafts, flowers, fish, and much more. First on our itinerary was clam chowder. After exploring the market we rode the monorail to the Space Center.
We purchased a combination ticket for the Space Needle and the Chihuly Garden and Glass in the Seatlle Center. While waiting for our timed ticket for the Space Needle, we spent over an hour walking though the Chihuly Garden and Glass. The exhibit brings together all the elements of artist Dale Chihuly’s work, including Drawings, iconic glass creations, large architectural installations, and personal collections. This long-term Exhibition features indoor galleries, the Glasshouse, and an ever-changing Garden.
