Beecher's Handmade Cheese
We started our day early to explore Pike Place Market. The original Starbucks Coffee store was just opening which gave us a chance to go in before the crowds arrived. The various stalls in the Market were beginning to open. The Sanitary Market across from Pike Place had a variety of fruits, vegetables, and rare local mushrooms. We purchased some fresh cheese curds from Beecher's Cheese, and spotted a Filipino restaurant, and an egg store.
After waiting almost 2 hours to ride the elevator, we arrived at the top of the iconic Space Needle. The weather was perfect for viewing the city of Seattle, Puget Sound, the Cascade Mountains, and the Olympic Mountains.
